Choosing the Right Heating Solution For Your Building

Here at Turnbull & Scott we manufacture a range of Commercial Heating products designed to provide a comfortable environment no matter what type of commercial or industrial building you have in mind. Our products can be found in buildings as diverse as Art Gallaries, Museums, Aircraft Hangers as well as Office Blocks and Industrial Factories or Warehouses.
Finned Tube Radiators
These are probably our most distinct looking product and are typically used in high amenity buildings such as corporate offices, penthouse and loft conversions or atruims and showrooms. The robust and even heat distribution also make them ideal for schools and nursaries. They work well in areas with high glass content as they do not need to be wall mounted.
Like most of our commercial heating products they are made to your specification, in any output, length or finish (colour, galvanized or stainless steel)
Thermolier Space Heaters
The Thermolier is ideal for heating large spaces such as garages, workshops and warehouses. Because the Thermolier is heated by hot water, steam or thermal fluids it is an extremely efficient source of heat. Typically located at height it ensures that hot air is recirculated throughout the dayand can be used to heat a fresh air ventilation source for added comfort.
Trench Heating
Trench is ideal where discreet heating is required. We have installed trench in offices, showrooms and even in churches. As the heating elements is located under the floor level no space is wasted on radiators. An added benefit is the incorporation of a service duct so that discreet data cabling can be achieved in busy office environments.
Radiant Strip
Heat is transferred from steam, hot water or thermal fluids from an insulted panel located at ceiling height. As the heat is radiant rather than convection, it is a more comfortable environment and typically requires 3 degress less heat. Radiant Strip is ideal for large open spaces such as sports halls and corridors.
Gilled Tube Heating System
Ideal for bars, nightclubs and changing rooms where under seat heating is most appropriate. Gilled tube tends to be installed as one continuous run, thereby emitting heat evenly throughout the building. For this reason it is also commonly used by our customers in green houses and conservatories.
Dado Heating
Dado Heating is an ideal heating system for busy corridors or office environments. Often used in hospital corridors to provide heat and wall protection in one solution. Service ducts for data and power cabling can also be incorporated.
