Turnbull & Scott work within a wide variety of industry sectors including:

• Agriculture
  Steel finned tube, used in commercial greenhouses and poultry houses, hot dip galvanised after fabrication for increased corrosion resistance and longevity. Also heater batteries for grain drying (malting for whiskey industry)
  
  
• Eco-Environmental
  Blast coolers, cooling hot water produced from boilers buring waste products from manufacture (chipboard, furniture, kitchen units etc.), converting the hot water to hot air that can be used to heat the factory. (See also petrochemical).
  
  
• Heavy Industry
  Space heating (Thermolier) and Process heating (heater batteries) used in drying ovens, curing ovens (in tile manufacture for example). We also fabricate structural steelwork, tanks for various applications and fire escape stairs etc.
  
  
• Paper
  Space heating/ducting air systems to building heating and also heater batteries for drying ovens/process on paper and print machines.
  
  
• Petrochemical
  Heating/cooling batteries for petrochemical (naphthalene etc) plant. Also solvent cooling systems where the batteries remove harmul airborne products before they are discharged to atmosphere (these products can be recycled).
  
  
• Power
  Thermolier and ducted air heating installations have been used in a number of power stations (including nuclear industry).
  
  
• Steam
  Steam fed heaters are used for space heating and process heating, we also supply and install steam raising boilers and associated plant.
