Reception areas and stairwells are often high volume spaces and have high air changes created by frequent door opening. Effective heating can be achieved with high capacity heaters with high air flows such as the CQAC Fan Forced Wall Heater and CHDA Architectural Fan Forced Wall Heater.
Large expanses of glazing can be prone to condensation and producing an uncomfortable down draft of cold air. This can be counteracted by installing discreet Trench Heating or smaller CFD Floor Drop in Fan Heaters. The CFT Heavy Duty Finned Tubular Heater can also be effective as a reception heater.
The reception desk in a large entrance area is a difficult place to heat comfortably. The small sized CWD Fan Heater can be surface or recess mounted, or the CCB Kickspace plinth heater can be incorporated into the desk/counter design providing localised heat.
