For automating water valve ‘on-off’ function on LPHW versions of GUARD Commercial Air Curtains and HEATER R1-3 Unit Heaters.
The TS Lite Actuator is used in conjunction with a water control valve to automate the on-off function of water flow for both the LPHW version of the GUARD Air Curtain range and the LPHW version of the HEATER R1-3 unit heater range.

The TS Lite Actuator connects to a 1/2 inch water control valve and automates the on-off function of the water flow in the LPHW version of the GUARD Air Curtain.
The TS Lite Actuator connects to a 3/4 inch water control valve and automates the on-off function of the water flow in the LPHW version of the HEATER R1-3 unit heater range.
With the above valve/actuator configuration you are then able to control the units via the COMFORT Panel or other available controls. This facilitates electronic thermostatic control and speed regulation.
All electrical connections should be made by a suitably qualified person in accordance with the latest edition of the IEE Requirements for Electrical Installation (BS 7671:2008).
The installation of the water connection should be carried out in such a way that enables access for maintenance. On both of the unit’s connections you should install manual shut-off valves to correctly isolate the unit. All connections should be made as stated in technical documentation supplied with the products. When installing The TS Lite Actuator you must ensure it is installed on the outlet valve of the unit to prevent damage.
